Half-Life 2: A Larger Puzzle

Patreon: Discord: Second Channel: Twitter: Half-Life 2 does an especially good job at subtle world building and visual storytelling, to the point where I missed 90% of the most interesting parts of the game my first couple times playing it as a kid. This does amazing things like making the world feel so much bigger than what we get to see, and gives the game a longevity that hardly any other games can compete with. There’s always a new detail you might’ve missed that continues to build on the larger puzzle that the entire game world makes up. And yes, the rant at the end is supposed to be near-incomprehensible. Just my way of quickly emphasizing how much thought Half-Life 2’s story merits. The music in this video is from The Half-Life 2 OST by Kelly Bailey Portal 2: Songs to test by Mike Morasky
