Tsunami warning issued for parts of Australia

An underwater volcano off Tonga has erupted, triggering a tsunami warning for parts of Australia’s east coast, including Queensland, New South Wales, Tasmania and Victoria. The Bureau of Meteorology has also issued a warning for Macquarie Island, Norfolk Island and Lord Howe Island. Videos posted on social media showed waves crashing through Tongan homes.
