I’ve wanted to vid these two for a really long time and I didn’t think it’d happen before we get the show, but here we go haha Darklina isn’t maybe my fav grishaverse ship (I mean,,, kanej, zoyalai, wesper, helnik dkdkdk), but I absolutely adore the relationship, and the idea of the light and the darkness, and the balance, you know, two sides of the same coin, and all that. I’m just obsessed hahah Also I love the Darkling so much (and we’re not surprised here, are we) and the Grisha Trilogy’s ending was just.... Most of the time I just pretend it didn’t happen (with a small break for when I was making the end of the video) jdjddk So anyway, I really liked the idea of using this song for these two and I think if I didn’t like this song so much, I’d have never finished this video dkdjd I’m not happy with the outcome at all, but I’ve been working on it for a long time now and I think if I try to work on it any more, I’ll just delete the whole project, so... I don’t think this video would have happened if it hadn’t been for Lizzie, aka @HeartPhantom. Her Darklina vids are like the best thing out there (go check them out right now if you haven’t already!) and it was a huge inspiration for me!
