Northern Ballet - A Midsummer Night’s Dream rehearsals

Northern Ballet dancers Pippa Moore, Tobias Batley & Dreda Blow improvise dialogue to choreography from the ballet A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Adding their own dialogue allows the dancer to understand the emotion and intention of their character vividly, and though the dialogue is only spoken during early rehearsals the dancer has that intention so firmly in their mind during a performance the audience gets much more from the dancer.
