Asta Kask - En För Alla, Ingen För Nån, Album Completo 2006

A band from a small town called Töreboda, Sweden, formed in 1978, and disbanded 81, which re-formed in the same year and that up until 1986 released a bunch of classic EPs, before they did an LP and broke up, in protest against themselves and the punk movement’s elitism. Only to do a reunion gig in 1992, and then promise that they would never ever play together again ... It should not be possible, that that one same band now has been active since 2003, continues to play and sing in their mother tongue, while they do tours- not only in Scandinavia, but also in the rest of Europe, Japan, USA, and most recently in South America... And how the hell is it possible that they will continue to be vital, hungry, pissed off, and relevant after 35 years? It should not be possible, but the answer is that they are Asta Kask. A band that doesn’t give a shit about what everyone else thinks, about trends, or how other bands sound. That doesn’t give a shit about the fact that an old record label have trademarked their name in extortion purposes. That doesn’t give a shit if they break their own promises, as long as it feels right. That does not care if your feelings get hurt because of their lyrics- just because you are a republican. Whose motto is: “You should always afford to tell anyone and everyone to go to go fuck themselves“. The only thing that matters is that they are Asta Kask. A cockroach that refuses to die, and you continue to listen to them - you who just discovered punk, and you who heard Asta for the first time back in the 80’s on a fifth generation tape copy, in a land far away from Sweden. It is, honestly, as beautiful as punk gets. ..... , .... los asta kask desde Suecia punks activos desde 1978 01- Än Finns Det Hopp 02- Till Vilket Pris Som Helst 03- Vill Inte Va Med 04- Ett Liv På Kredit 05- Din Frihet Är Din Grav 06- €uropéer 07- Precis Som Far 08- Man Vet Vad Man Har 09- Patriarkatet 10- Apan 11- Jag Mot Allt 12- Med Facit I Hand
