This comes after Suella Braverman was sacked as Home Secretary after the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak took action following her unauthorised article criticising the way pro-Palestinian protests had been policed. Braverman was under pressure this week after she accused the police of “playing favourites“ by tolerating demonstrations while using stronger tactics against counter-protesters.
