Deathspell Omega - Fas - ite, maledicti, in ignem aeternum (remastered)

This is a remastered version of Deathspell Omega’s fourth album, 2007’s Fas - ite, maledicti, in ignem aeternum (Latin: Divine Law - Depart, Ye Cursed, into Everlasting Fire; a reference to Matthew 25: ). I’ve made two significant changes to the audio (my source was a lossless rip of the CD), and I feel both improve significantly on commercial releases of the album. First, I mitigated digital clipping with iZotope RX3 Advanced’s declipper. (If you don’t know about digital clipping and the loudness war, TV Tropes has a good overview at But a warning: TV Tropes will ruin your life.) The result isn’t as good as an unclipped master would be, but it has far more dynamic range and “punch” than commercial releases and is a less fatiguing listen.
