Soviet Union Flag in my middle school!?

Back when I was in 8th grade at a new middle school, it was national celebration day or something like that that day. In my Theater class, someone told me there was a Soviet Union flag inside the gym, so after class I went to the gym and found the Soviet flag. Sorry for the shake.
