Similarities Between Uzbek and Kyrgyz

To what extent are Turkic languages mutually intelligible? Can speakers of Turkic languages such as Turkmen, Kyrgyz , Uzbek, Uyghur, Kazakh, Yakut, and others understand one another? In this episode we compare Kyrgyz (Кыргызча) and Uzbek (o‘zbek tili) to showcase the similarities between them. We are joined by Zavkiddin (Uzbek speaker) and Ernazar (Kyrgyz speaker) to see how well they can understand one another using sentences and paragraphs.
