Russian Nuclear Battlecruiser - Pyotr Velikiy

In the 1960s, the Soviet Union embarked on a groundbreaking project to develop a ship unlike anything the world had ever seen before: a nuclear-powered anti-submarine cruiser. Dubbed the Kirov-class battlecruisers, they were designed to eliminate submarines, ships, aircraft, and even shore targets with an impressive arsenal. Weighing 28,000 tons and with a length of 250 meters, this ship class comprised the largest and heaviest combatant warships ever assembled besides aircraft carriers. With a devastating capacity of 352 Vertical Launching System or VLS cells for an array of different missiles, more than six guns, 10 torpedo tubes, and three helicopters, the Kirov cruisers became the most lethal ships ever built.
