Full title reads: “THEIR MAJESTIES IN SCOTLAND“. Edinburgh, Scotland. King George VI (former Prince Albert, Duke of York), Queen Elizabeth (former Duchess of York, later Queen Mother) and Princesses Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth II) and Margaret Rose arriving to Edinburgh train station. Royal family members shake hands with reception committee, enter an open carriage and drive off into town. Crowded streets, people cheering. Coach stops in front of Holyrood House where the King and Queen are residing. They enter the grounds. Several shots of the parade of Royal Company of Archers - King’s bodyguard while in Scotland. King inspects the Archers and they present him with three arrows. Royal family walks through crowds to dais to watch the march past of the troops that lined royal route during the day.
