Feature Length Special - Talyllyn Railway Weekly Walkabout

A Special Feature Length Edition of the Talyllyn Weekly Walkabout! Don’t miss this exclusive re-enactment of a very special moment in the history of Railway Preservation. In November 1950, a special train was run to enable Mr John Wilkins to examine the railway for the newly created Talyllyn Railway Preservation Society committee. This was the last train run by the ‘old company’. To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the ’TRPS’ a special train will run comprising the original stock of this important train in the history of Railway Preservation. As we made the tough decision not run steam trains in November, join us as we travel aboard a special re-enactment Train featuring ’Dolgoch’ and the original train that ran 70 Years ago! The findings from his special train made for some interesting feedback to the founders of Railway Preservation..
