Jumping Spider Got Cute

This is a Phidippus Carolinensis I just found recently. She really looked pitiful when I found her. She was on a willow tree and she was sneaking up on a good size fly to eat it. The fly spotted her and flew away so she was left without her meal. Her abdomen was really shriveled up, so she would have only made it for about 2 more days at the most before dying if she didn’t get any water and a meal.
