Prelude in D minor - BWV 999

Prelude in D minor - BWV 999 This piece was composed by the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) between 1710 and 1720. It was intended to be played on the German lute. It is written in a melodic style called a ‹prelude›. Bach composed the Prelude in which a single instrument begins playing by way of an introduction to the orchestral performance. I have studied the piece with the aim of playing it on the oud. This has required me to carefully study the correct finger movements and positions that will allow for the optimum method of playing these musical notes. This is aimed at ensuring that this piece can be played properly on the oud. I also composed a cadenza to precede the piece. The cadenza is a written ornamental passage played or sung by a soloist, usually in a free rhythmic style. The piece is performed on several instruments, such as the piano, the guitar and the German lute. استهلال لمقام نهاوند على الدوكه ألفها الموسيقار يوهان سبيستيان باخ ) 1685 م - 1750 م( في الفترة بين ) 1710 - 1720 م( لآلة اللوت الألمانية وهي عبارة عن قالب موسيقي يسمى )برليود( وتعني )استهلال(، وقد اعتاد باخ أن يؤلف قوالب البرليود لآلات منفرده تقوم بعزف الاستهلال قبل البدء بالعزف الاوركسترالي، ومعنى اسم القطعة بالعربية هو “استفتاح مقام النهاوند على الدوكه) 1( وقد قمت بدراسة القطعة بغرض تأديتها على آلة العود الأمر الذي تطلب مني وضع دراسة دقيقة للأصابع و وضعيات العزف وتدوينها على النوتة الموسيقية الخاصة بالقطعة ليتمكن العازف من تأديتها بالشّكل المطلوب على آلة العود، كما قمت بتأليف الكادينزا التي تسبق القطعة. عُزفت هذه القطعة على العديد من الآلات مثل البيانو والجيتار واللوت الألماني، وتمتاز القطعة بأنها عبارة عن سلسلة من الأكورات المتتالية وصلها المؤلف بعبقرية فذة.
