Sunday Chopin Recitals in Chopin Museum | Andrzej Wierciński

Sunday Chopin Recitals are an opportunity to listen to pianists participating in the Chopin Institute’s Programme for the Promotion of the Young Talents, academics, and winners of Polish and international Chopin competitions. The 30-minute piano concerts are held at 5pm and 6pm on each Sunday. The recital at 5pm is additionally streamed live on Facebook and YouTube channels of the Chopin Institute. ANDRZEJ WIERCIŃSKI He was born on 21 November 1995, in Warsaw. He began regular music lessons at the age of six, from 2010 in the piano class of Anna Jastrzębska-Quinn at the Zenon Brzewski Secondary School of Music in Warsaw and since 2014 in the class of Wojciech Świtała at Katowice Music Academy. His principal artistic achievements include First Prize in the Budapest International Chopin Piano Competition (2014), First Prize in the ‘Golden Ring’ International Piano Competition in Slovenia (2014) and Third Prize in the ‘Halina Czerny-Stefańska in memoriam’ Internatio
