Clipping Masks: Alpha inheritance, Alpha Lock & Groups in Krita

Understanding how to use the inherit alpha and lock alpha features in Krita was difficult to me, but is actually quite easy. That’s why I decided to make this video. These options to create masks are present in most painting softwares with some tweaks and differences on each one. But I have noticed that a lot of people have difficulty understanding it in Krita. I hope this video is usefull to you. The way the layers system in Krita works is quite powerful. You can create masks that are ’clipped’ not only to one layer but the layers you want. The Inherit alpha and lock alpha features allow us to use a faster workflow to colouring, shadding and lighting.
