Something special is forming between two people, but one must depart on a trip. The song is about the journey of excitement and contemplation of a romantic future, as well as the anxiety and desperation of waiting for someone special to return. Then, realising that when they do come back, that they have a special connection and can start their journey together. The track uses sustained guitar created with an EBow to create a mystical, ambient sound that acts as a counterpart to the lead vocal and also compliments the sustained vocals in the bridge section, which was written with the ocean in mind, to represent the waves of anticipation” Rebecca Voorn-Knight.
