Walking with lions at Lion Encounter, we were able to witness our lion make his first kill. It took him 11 minutes to kill a baboon. I left it all in here in real time. I know it has to happen in the wild and that the lion has to learn to kill, but it was still disconcerting insofar as we were all standing around watching, taking videos and photos like it was some show. Afterwards, we flew to Joburg with a layover for a few hour then Cape Town for a couple of nights at the Ritz (not to be confused with the Ritz-Carlton).
