By popular demand, here is an overview of the written for for the right to roam laws in the UK (focus England & Wales), and the law on camping, whether it is legal to camp in England & Wales, etc. Ultimately, it is down to the estate owner granting permission or - as many have observed - whether it is ’tolerated’ rather than being strictly legal!
