*** READ ME *** The Machine gun in the video is an Original MG42 from WWII that had been demilled (parts kit purchased from years ago), and rebuilt by a C2/SOT. It’s original caliber was 8mm, but quality 8mm is hard to find these days, so you swap the MG3 Top Cover (Complete), MG1/3 .308 Barrel, MG3 Feed Tray, and the MG3 Flash Hider/Booster Set and you are ready to shoot the clean and reliable with the better M60 M13 Links. The swap takes only a couple minutes. There are two common Parts Kits: The MG42 and the M53. I have never seen an MG3 in private hands in the US The rate of fire: 900 to 1500 rpm Converted MG42 or M53 () 1200 rpm for the MG42 in 8mm Mauser It’s possible to run it up to 1,800 rounds per minute with lighter components or without the booster, but wear is dramatically increased.
