MANNY PACQUIAO (PHI) vs JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ (MEX) EPIC FIGHT

Welcome guys thanks for joining me again in this update. I hope you’re all well. So guys, the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez took place on May 8th, 2004, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, USA. Marquez was the unified champion, and his IBF World Featherweight and WBA Super World Featherweight belts were on the line. Both boxers gave a truly remarkable and entertaining performance in their boxing workout. That fight demonstrated the skill and willpower involved in boxing, the grit and determination, and the beauty and brutality of boxing. This fight was, of course, the first of their four-fight saga that I talk about in my online training. I’m not going to offer any critique of the boxers in this one because they’re not currently active, and they are both legends with great boxing skills. So my respect for the boxers has truly surfaced after watching this contest. But guys, you could tell that Pacquiao’s swift and unpredictable aggressiveness was pitted against Marquez’s accurate and technical counterpunching ability in this grand spectacle of a fight. Notice Pacquiao’s constant double-slip movement he used before advancing. Conversely, observe Marquez’s patient and more regulated movement he used in preparation to respond as Pacquiao came forward. The crowd was undoubtedly entertained, but the fight’s outcome did not truly convey the energy and exhilaration present during this epic encounter. However, the result was fair and set the way for a classic and memorable four-part saga between Pacquiao and Marquez.
