Darwin Award news, Michigan: A Dearborn man is left without his prized Ford Mustang GT after his friend’s reckless actions led to the vehicle’s impoundment. The incident occurred on Friday evening near the intersection of Warren Avenue and Mead Street in Dearborns east end. The owner lent his Mustang GT to a friend for a wedding. However, instead of simply driving to the event, the friend was caught on video performing dangerous “donuts” in the middle of Warren Avenue, putting other drivers and pedestrians at risk. Police obtained the video, and located the vehicle, and impounded the Mustang. Dearborn Police have reiterated the importance of responsible driving and the severe consequences of reckless behavior on city streets. [id347078782|@dearborn] Source: Police frequency
