Ukrainians defy Russian Orthodox Christmas by celebrating now | DW News
The Ukrainian city of Bucha, outside Kyiv, bore the brunt of Russia’s initial invasion. For survivors of alleged war crimes there, Christmas is especially difficult. It’s also different this year, with the holiday happening now, instead of in early January per Russian Orthodox tradition. DW’s Emmanuelle Chaze has more.
