Italian and US Army Paratroopers conduct Airborne Operation. U.S. Army Paratroopers assigned to 173rd Brigade Support Battalion, 173rd Airborne Brigade and Italian Army Paratroopers assigned to Folgore Brigade, conduct an airborne operation with U.S. Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft from the 86th Air Wing at Aviano Air Base and Juliet DZ, Pordenone, Italy, Mar. 16, 2023. The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army Contingency Response Force in Europe, capable of projecting ready forces anywhere in the U.S. European, Africa or Central Commands’ areas of responsibility.
