Milano Design Week 2022 - Salone Del Mobile & Fuorisalone

Here is a quick video to recap my Milano Design Week 2022, with a selection of images from Salone Del Mobile and Fuorisalone. Salone del Mobile started in 1962 as an initiative to promote Italian furniture and design, quickly becoming a phenomenon with worldwide relevance, attracting thousands of international brands onto a stage with a massive international audience. Salone del Mobile is a six days event held in the Fiera (Exhibition Centre) in Rho, just outside Milano, but such a popular event has spilled onto the international city itself, where many areas also host design events and exhibitions, called Fuorisalone (Outside Salone). Milano Design Week is such a large collection of events that it’s impossible to see them all. Here is a selection of images and video snapshots I have quickly pulled out from the thousands I came back with, hoping to give you at least an idea of what this year’s Milano Design Week felt like.
