Episode: 44 - Box Joint - Finger Joint Jig One hour Build ONLINE CLASS This project uses the following project; Video - Extreme Crosscut Sled – Miter/Dado With removable zero clearance inserts: I have a few projects coming up that will use finger joints, and I have a few jigs laying around, but I thought I would show exactly how easy it is to build one. This jig took about an hour to film and build. Including the time to dial it in and cut a sample box. Anybody can make one. It works best if you have a crosscut sled. Then the build only takes a small scrap of plywood, and a short small piece of hardwood. This jig is essentially built for free, with workshop scraps. Pieces needed: ¾” plywood. 3” wide x 20” long A few pieces of hardwood. (I used a maple scrap). 5/8” tall x 3/8” thick x 6” long. (Cut one about a hair narrower than 3/8’, and one right at 3/8”, and one more at a hair bigger than 3/8”) And a tiny bit of glue. That’s it
