Leather butterfly backpack tutorial

Hello! In this video we will be showing you the making of a ladies backpack made out of vegetable tanned leather, hand dyed and riveted in shape using one of our patterns. Seeing how we will likely spend this spring indoors and some reminiscence of better times inspired us to create this pretty little accessory. The pattern is available on our website at but please read on for some more info. - It measures approximately 320 x 280 x 70 mm ( 12,5 x 11 x 3 inches ) and it has a single compartment with one interior pocket for a large phone. As you may observe in the pictures, you can fit quite a lot of things inside and it’s rather a spacious design despite the minimalist look. - This backpack was assembled using rivets alone with no stitching involved. You don’t need a rivet setter press but you need a setter kit and about 50 rivets sized appropriately to your choice of leather which in our case was 2 mm ( 6 oz ) vegetable tanned leather. - You will require 2 D-ri
