Menu Customization, Sticky Tires and Discord

Buy us a coffee: Get more information on our discord server: Link to Ivans Channel: Spoiler alert: everything you see can and will be fixed and/or changed in the future. We implement as many systems somehow at first and tweak it later in the development :) We (Ivan and me, Kilian) have a huuuuge list of updates and it is still heavily WIP. Our latest and greatest accomplishment is a fully fledged MacPherson Strut with adjustable camber, toe and caster angles. You can see it during the customization when the suspension upgrades are installed (where we adjust camber automatically). Ah yes, we have all performance upgrades, paint, decal, vinyl, body and some specialties customizations now ready. All cars are implemented. We changed a lot of friction stuff to have more of a grippy handling but still allow drifting. It is still work in progress. You can see now parts of the menu, excluding the track selection (but it is working too). Almost all tracks including their variations are done (different layouts), you can also join them. Messaging System is included (for SMS) and the whole campaign progress with Eventsystem is working. We are currently shifting the project to UE5 and refactor some stuff so that will take some time, also we need to wait for FMOD support for the newest update. I can already say, the performance increases with Unreal Engine 5 and tests gave us more stable physics and a more predictable simulation. Ah yes, the whole collisions of the game are overhauled and consists of simplified collision meshes. So it is not possible to fall off the world, get stuck somewhere and smooth sliding along walls is possible. We have a new camera, with huge help of r033 we had deep inside into the ’Core X Most Wanted’ project and learned a lot about it and shared a lot of code and ideas. There are new textures and the streaming has been overhauled for the new UE5 project. -solved our inertia tensor riddle -completely new steering (correctly uses ackermann, works especially well with gamepad and keyboard, other input devices are untested) -changed nitrous and turbo things -airplanes and trains added for ambience -much more and extended downforce calculation -fixed sooo many bugs in code To get more information and get more updates about this project join ’elaymm4’s Modding Corner’ where we have a project related section. 00:00 - Main Menu 00:18 - Body Customization 01:11 - Performance Customization 01:57 - Graphics Customization 03:03 - Specialties Cutomization 04:00 - Stock Car Overview 04:40 - Menues 05:14 - Gameplay
