Düsseldorf, a city in the western part of Germany, is a beautiful place to be, especially in summer. This video walk was filmed on a not too warm day in July 2022. The city is a regional hub for banking, advertising, fashion, shopping and also for Japanese culture. It offers an large amount of cultural variety, numerous shopping and leisure options and also an spectactular nightlife that should not be missed. Here I am walking closely to the Königsallee shopping boulevard to the recently opened KÖ-Bogen II area and then head to Little Tokyo, which is near the main station, where this tour ends. The Königsallee boulevard is famous for both the landscaped canal that runs along its center, as well as for the fashion showrooms and luxury retail stores located along its sides. Many visitors to Germany are only opting to explore the bigger urban hotspots of Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Cologne. But this beautiful and enchanting city is more than deserving of attention. Düsseldorf also houses the largest Japanese community in Germany and one of the largest in Europe. Many locals, business people, manga fans, otakus and food lovers from all over the world come together here to enjoy cultural events like the annual Japan Tag or Japanese Ramen noodle soup, Sushi, Sake with Altbier.
