16-Photocell Arpeggiator

This video is documentation of an ongoing project titled ’LightMatrix,’ initiated on February 27, 2017. The end result will be a light-sensitive, Arduino-driven sound controller employing 256 individual photocells. In this video, sixteen photocells are wired to a 16-channel multiplexer. These data are processed and digitized by an Arduino Mega 2560 and sent to my computer via USB, where the information is received by SuperCollider and applied as triggers to a simple synthesis routine.
