Halling Norwegian folk dance

Hallgrim Hansegård from FRIKAR winning the Kings prize in the nationals 2015, at Landskappleiken in his home town Fagernes. Book halling at or booking@ Halling is the oldest living dance tradition of the Northern Europe, being traced back to 2000 years old cave carvings. During the viking era the kruking (in the thumbnail) was a common way of dancing. The music is “Sumarmørgon“ by Eivind Groven, performed by Knut & Ole Aastad Bråten on the instrument langeleik. The hat is hold by Ragnhild Hemsing.
