Это композиция под названием “All by myself” и это песня американского композитора по имени Эрик Кармен. Песня является первым синглом с его дебютного альбома с одноимённым называнием «Эрик Кармен». В США она была издана отдельным синглом в декабре 1975 года. Мелодия куплетов этой песни основана на второй части Второго фортепианного концерта Сергея Васильевича Рахманинова. Дело в том, что когда Кармен писал и записывал это произведение, он думал, что музыка Рахманинова уже стала достоянием общественности. Но когда песня была издана, он получил послание от управляющих наследием Рахманинова и узнал, что это не так. В итоге стороны пришли к соглашению, по которому наследники Рахманинова получали по 12% отчислений от песен All by Myself, а также ещё от одной песни, про которую я скорее всего расскажу в одном из следующих видео. В 1996 году эта песня была перепета всем известной Селин Дион. Many people have heard it, but few people know that a co-author of this composition is Rachmaninov. The song is performed by Celine Dion and it is called “All by myself”, the composer is Eric Carmen. This song is the first single from his self-titled debut album “Eric Carmen”. It was released as a separate single in the USA in December, 1975. The melody of this song’s verses is based on the second part of Second piano Concert by Sergey Rachmaninov. The thing is when Carmen was writing and recording this song he thought that the music was in the public domain. But, when the song was released, he received a message from the managers of Rachmaninov’s legacy and found out that this was not the case. As a result, the parties came to an agreement, according to which the heirs of Rachmaninov received 12% of the royalties from the songs “All by Myself“, as well as from another song, which I will most likely tell you about in one of the following videos. In 1996, this song was covered by the famous Celine Dion. And we know it well in this variant.
