Ryunosuke Okazaki of RYUNOSUKEOKAZAKI presents his collection “001”. The “JOMONJOMON“ collection, inspired by forms and decorations of the ancient Japanese earthenware, and the people’s activities facing nature. The “Nature’s Contours“, which are inspired by the colors and forms found in the natural world. These two three-dimensional dress seires reveal the radical themes of “PRAY“ and “harmony between human and nature,“ which run through the very foundation of Okazaki’s creations. The “001“ collection, which is numbered consecutively, is similar to the “000“ collection in that “forms that can only be discovered through the continuous movement of the hand and a sense of excitement“ and, through the exploration of materials and reconsideration of form, he has focused on expressing more clearly his intuitive aesthetic of modeling.
