The winter summit of Golden Ears Mountain

Part of the trail has a 360° view. The video is available at the link - We decided to tackle the popular summer spot, Golden Ears, during the winter. This mountain is right in the Vancouver hood, specifically in the provincial park of the same name. We’re on a winter hike with an overnight stay, planning to crash at a shelter perched at 1370 meters. The overnighter turned out to be a real kicker thanks to some heavy winds and a snowfall. The ascent was no cakewalk either, with thick clouds, gusty winds, and precipitation making the trek a bit more intense.
