Link to mod: Link to source code: A number of updates since the last video have been made. I changed how the camera positioning worked. Previously it was being attached to the head “bone“ from the character animator. This seems to make sense and worked okay, but the problem was that there was too much movement associated with the head animations that was not controlled by the player. For example, there was a slight head bobbing as the player walked, or when swinging an axe or weapons, the character lunges forward, which dragged the camera along with it. This ends up being uncomfortable in VR, so it needed to change. Now the position is at a fixed position around the player model, but no longer tied to the model. This eliminates all the movement related to the motion of the player body. So now moving around is very smooth and way more comfortable.
