Replica of the Grand Duchess Vladimir Tiara

This bespoke replica was made by Juliette Designs, the atelier that made the replica jewels for the Netflix series “The Crown“. The faux emeralds on this replica were cast from resin. The original tiara had pearl drops, and belonged to Grand Duchess Vladimir. After the Russian Revolution, she had to sell many of her jewels. This was one of several Russian pieces that were bought by Queen Mary. She modified it to be worn with or without the pearls, or with some of the Cambridge Emeralds.
