The Dragonsberg Region, South Africa. (Drakensberg?) Scenic shots of the region. Mountains, streams etc. A local Basotu (sp?) woman sits beside the road weaving baskets. M/S and C/u of her at work. White couple admire the goods, man looks at a basket, woman puts on a hat. L/S of an unidentified building and some local flowers. Group of people play bowls. Narrator observes how a local cottage looks like it could be in England. Middle aged woman drinks orange squash though a straw. An outdoor pool looks as if it could be a “continental resort“. Another swimming pool is seen, lots of people swimming and sunbathing. More scenic shots. A group of middle aged folk have a barbecue at the “Cascades“ waterfall. C/U of sausages being cooked over a campfire. C/U of heavily made up woman eating a snag. Horse riding through the countryside. More scenic shots of countryside. Men swim and fish in a natural pool. The narrator says “Here the air is wine“. He is really giving it the hard sell.
