Full title reads: “Southwark. By 1 2/5 secs! Old Kent Road station win proud title of ’London’s smartest for 1933’ at annual Motor Pump Competition.“ Southwark, London. Firemen of the LFB (London Fire Brigade) leap from their fire engine parked up in a fire station yard. They attach hoses to the tender. Some of the fire fighters take hoses and aim the spray of water at targets which they knock over. The hoses are detached and rolled up. All this is done under the watch full eye of judges and a small crowd. A whistle is blown as the last fireman leaps back onto the fire appliance.
