The cigarbox guitar is dedicated to American punk rock band Black Flag. Black Flag voiced an anti-authoritarian and nonconformist message, in songs punctuated with descriptions of social isolation, neurosis, poverty, and paranoia. These themes were explored further when Henry Rollins joined the band as lead singer in 1981. They are often regarded as pioneers in the movement of underground do-it-yourself record labels that flourished among 1980s punk rock bands. I’ve removed an old engraving from the box, anyway here is a new art and a little of craquelure. Scale — 666 mm, neck and fretboard— maple, 22 frets, covered with some wood stain, linseed oil and beeswax, nut made from 4 roller bridge saddles. Jazzmaster tremolo and roller bridge installed, locking tuners. Pickups— 4 single coils, each one ~4.5 kOm resistance ,CTS pots, PureTone jack, vintage capacitor К73-16 on tone pot, 5 way lever switch with positions -- 1 2, 1, 2, 3, 4 pickup.
