Third-generation Nakamura Hashinosuke, who recently took over the stage name of eighth-generation Nakamura Shikan, portrayed the role of Hideyoshi, breaking away from his previous mild-mannered image and demonstrating new talents. The drama depicts the dynamic achievements of Fuyukirosuke, who, with the help of his wife Nene and his comrades, overcomes the challenges posed by Nobunaga, and is a fast-paced and enjoyable entertainment piece. The story follows a farmer named Fujikichiro (played by Nakamura Hashinosuke) from Owari who believes that becoming a samurai is the only way to bring happiness to his mother and sister. After a dispute with his stepfather, he leaves home and begins wandering. One day, he meets a samurai (played by Murakami Hiroaki) who urinates on a Jizo statue, but it turns out that this samurai is none other than Oda Nobunaga, the lord of the Oda clan in Owari. Fujikichiro is immediately drawn to Nobunaga’s charisma and begins to follow him. He accidentally ends up at Kiyosu Castle and catches Nobunaga’s attention by taming his unruly horse. Nobunaga hires him as a horse groomer and then promotes him to other positions, such as sandal-bearer and construction overseer. Fujikichiro impresses Nobunaga by repairing the castle walls in three days and is appointed as firewood commissioner. Nobunaga entrusts Fujikichiro with the task of defeating Imagawa Yoshimoto (played by Musaka Naomasa) and Fujikichiro seeks advice from Nene, the adopted daughter of Asano Nagamasa (played by Watanabe Tetsu), who suggests various tactics to help Nobunaga win the Battle of Okehazama. Fujikichiro’s plan works, and he becomes Nene’s husband. Later, Nobunaga orders Fujikichiro to build a castle in Sunomata as part of his plan to conquer Mino Province. With the help of Hattori Koheita (played by Matoba Koji) and the carpenter Okabe Mataemon (played by Murai Kunio), Fujikichiro becomes the lord of the castle and takes the name Hideyoshi. He then persuades Sakuma Morimasa (played by Amamiya Ryo), a vassal of the Saito clan, to defect to his side. Together with Nobunaga and Ashikaga Yoshiaki (played by Kyomoto Masaki), Hideyoshi aims to unify the country. However, he becomes conflicted between his love for his wife Nene and his growing feelings for Nobunaga’s sister, Oichi (played by Aida Shoko). ▼Series Playlist ▼Click here to learn more about Samurais and Japanese history! ▼Official SNS TikTok | @samuraininjach Instagram | Facebook | Twitter | #samuraivsninja #fullmovie #japanhistory #samurai #ninja #englishsubtitle #movie #sword #video
