In this episode of Reign, Ambika talks about how seeing herself on screen growing up would have helped her as not seeing South Asian women on screen made her question, “do people fall in love with someone who looks like me?” Ambika also opens up about struggling to feel comfortable in her own skin. Plus Ambika talks very powerfully and movingly about how playing Junior Doctor, Shruti in ’This Is Going to Hurt’ made her confront her mental health and living with ’anhedonia’ which is a numbing to all joy in life.
