The Siq is a natural 1.2 km long sandstone gorge that gently winds toward the ancient city of Petra until it opens on to the magnificent Treasury. The Treasury has been used in several moves including Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. It the movie it served as the final location of the Holy Grail. Along both sides of the Siq are ancient water channels that once held clay pipes that brought fresh water from the Moses Spring into the city of Petra.
