Ukraine strikes strategic bridge over river Seym in Kursk region

Russia launched a cruise missile and an aerial bomb across the border into Ukraine Saturday that sparked a fire in the city of Sumy. Two Ukrainian soldiers were injured in the attack, which also damaged a number of vehicles and buildings. Russia also flew kamikaze drones overnight Friday into Ukrainian airspace Friday. Ukraine continued to deepen its incursion into Russia, days after taking control of the Russian town of Sudzha. The Kremlin accused Ukrainian forces of using Western-made rockets Friday to take out a strategically important bridge over the Seym River in Russia’s Kursk region.
