Berlin, Germany. Title: “Wind Driven but without Sails. ’The Rotor Ship’ - invented by Dr. Flettner - which is expected to revolutionise shipping in near future“. Intertitle: “Power obtained by revolving these 50 ft. towers in the wind is transferred to machinery that works the propeller“. Low angled shot of a very large funnel, tilt down to the deck of the vessel to show the length of the funnel. L/S of the ship in harbour - the rest of the vessel in dwarfed by the two enormous funnels (towers) - they look like factory chimneys! Dr. Flettner’s name is painted on the side of the ship.
