Young America At Play (1916-1918)

Young America at Play - US Army gives a display of American games. Location of events unknown - somewhere in Britain? A long line of soldiers roll a ball backward through their legs. The last in a line of men lies down; then the rest move backward; straddling his body; and the next to the last passes him up and lies down; etc. etc. so that the order of the line is reversed - and they do all this while somehow holding hands between their legs. It sounds very suggestive but it just looks weird. Soldiers ride piggyback and try to knock other teams down. Next; another weird game which seems to be men running and leaping on to a stack of other men; like leap frog gone awry. African-American soldiers compete in blindfolded boxing 2 men are fighting and spinning around. An officer separates them and the fight starts again.
