A CASUAL PICNIC AT MR DARCY’S PEMBERLEY: WOULD JANE AUSTEN APPROVE?

A CASUAL PICNIC AT MR DARCY’S PEMBERLEY: WOULD JANE AUSTEN APPROVE?// Happy Friday, Time for a little Jane Austen road trip here in our area! If you’re a big fan of the BBC 1995 adaptation of ’Pride & Prejudice’, you will recognise Lyme Park in Cheshire straight away. Yes, that’s right, it’s Mr Darcy’s Pemberley and it’s a beautiful National Trust property that we have visited many times. It’s a wonderful house from the 16th century on the edge of the stunning Peak District. We filmed the house and grounds for you and also had a casual picnic with classic tea sandwiches and sausage rolls. Stay tuned for next week Friday where we share what you will need for a relaxed picnic in the countryside. We hope Jane Austen would approve. Have a wonderful weekend. Kirsten & Joerg xx _____
