Air defence units of the Ivanovo paratroopers destroyed three Ukrainian reconnaissance drones

Air defence units of the Ivanovo paratroopers destroyed three Ukrainian reconnaissance drones Air defence units of the Airborne Forces are constantly on combat duty to cover units and subunits from enemy air attack and reconnaissance means. In the Artyomovsk direction, units of Russian paratroopers are protecting the crews of the Verba man-portable anti-aircraft missile systems (MANPADS) and the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile systems from air strikes. Having received the combat mission to cover the units from air attack and reconnaissance, the anti-aircraft paratroopers went to their starting positions, where they began air defence duty to cover the military units and subunits of the formation carrying out the defence of the specified line. To detect them and destroy air targets, the paratroopers have equipped a whole network of air observation points, which allow them to timely detect and destroy enemy aircraft. After detecting air targets, the paratroopers, with three missile launches from temporary and main launch positions from the Verba MANPADS and the Strela-10 air defence systems, destroyed 3 (three) reconnaissance drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including the Fly Eye, Leleka-100 and Furia. During the entire period of the special military operation, air defence crews of the Airborne Forces have shot down hundreds of various UAVs of Ukrainian troops. Over the past week alone, one of the crews shot down about 10 reconnaissance drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the sky above Russian positions. Join Military Wave Источник: Military Wave
