Sabaton - Dead Soldier’s Waltz - Assassination of Alexander II of Russia (The Tsar)/Golden Kamuy/AMV
First assasin Rysakov (member of the Executive Committee of Narodnaya Volya (“People’s Will“), threw the bomb under the Tsar’s carriage. However, the explosion had only damaged the bulletproof carriage. The emperor emerged shaken but unhurt. Rysakov was captured almost immediately.
Alexander II was ready to drive away when a second bomber, Hryniewiecki, who had come close to the Tsar, made a sudden movement, throwing a bomb at his feet.
Ignacy Hryniewiecki was also Polish member of the Russian revolutionary society Narodnaya Volya, and he gained notoriety for participating in the bombing attack to which Tsar Alexander II of Russia succumbed. Hryniewiecki - second assasin, threw the bomb that fatally wounded the Tsar and himself. Having outlived his victim by a few hours, he died the same day.
