Cinematic and ’Quiet Grrrl Punk’ band Pom Pom Squad, led by singer/songwriter Mia Berrin, samples musical styles and eras: punk, grunge, Motown, and wall-of-sound 60’s pop and cheekily takes on queering the ideal of the cheerleader.
