TRIBUTE TO MARIA COCOZZA-LANZA, Mother of Mario Lanza, a heroic woman who had devoted her whole life to her son and after his untimely death took a hard burden of raising his four fully orphaned children. Alfredo Arnoldo Cocozza was a loving, devoted and caring son, who never stopped thanking his parents for all what they had done for implementation of his dream - to become a singer. And it’s not a big surprise that at the beginning of his career he had changed his name for MARIO LANZA, using a masculine form of his Mother’s name.
